The best nature paths around Brienno.
Max height: Monte Comana (1210 m.) – lowest height: Brienno (210 m.)
Starting from Brienno Town Hall we follow the Botanical Trail, climbing a steep ladder between gardens and green meadows. Signs with the scientific names of plants soon appears on the vegetation. When we reach Giumanell we find a wide meadow that leads us to the temple of Sant' Antonio; turning right you can keep climbing on the stone ladder..
After a long walk we reach Scala Santa, a stone ladder made long ago when the woods were cultivated terraces. From here we can reach the Torbole spring and enter the beech woods leading to Pra' dela Cürt, a communal pasture characterized by two granite columns now almost submerged by vegetation.
Max height: 413 m. – lowest height: Brienno (210m.)
From Bar "Circolo A.I.C.S." you can walk along the path well marked by signs. After passing through the village, you follow a connecting path to the mountain huts.
During the walk you will encounter two beautiful stone bridges. Also on view will be extracts from the works of the poetess Elsa for whom the trail is dedicated.
